The procedure is extremely straightforward and will be over before you know it! It starts by cleaning the target areas and applying a local anesthetic to avoid any discomfort during the process. The PDO smooth threads are inserted gently into the treatment areas with a fine needle and a cannula. Each insertion takes about 1 minute on average, and this process is repeated as many times as necessary to achieve the discussed outcome.
Recovery
Once the procedure is complete and the numbing treatment wears off, it’s normal to experience slight discomfort. A few common symptoms patients experience include:
- Swelling
- Bruising
- Redness
- Tenderness
These side effects will subside in several hours to a few days. We highly recommend applying cold compresses or taking painkillers to help expedite the recovery period.
Results / Longevity
